Websites, like most things, can get stagnant and there often comes a time when you need to have a complete overhaul of your current site. Some companies chose to do this in stages and improve sections of the site bit at a time. You need to ensure if doing this that all the website still works as it should and by changing one part you’re not going to break another. If you are having a design change such as colour way or logos then you need to do it throughout the site in one go rather than page at a time for consistency.
If you find that your conversion rate is low or bounce rate is high for your site then it may be time to rethink your website layout or design as this can be one of the reasons that people leave your site before making a purchase.
