Social media can be a great asset to your business marketing but you will probably be aware that
It can be extremely time-consuming. You may need to employ someone specifically to manage your social media network or you may decide to entrust it to an existing employee or yourself.
The first thing you need to do on the social media sites is to create separate profiles (and you may even need more than one if you want to do it via department for example or have multiple locations). Your profile should include as much information as possible about your business, photos and opening hours etc.
Once you have set all the accounts up you will then need to log in to them individually to post status updates, photos / videos or to reply to comments etc. There are some great social media software packages that allow you to do this all through one application. You can log in and create posts and choose when and where you want to post the information. It could be that you want to use Facebook and Twitter for example and want the ability to create a bulk of posts and scheduled them to be posted on different days. This is made easy through applications suit as Hootsuite.
Many of these software applications charge a monthly fee for the use of their system, but be sure to check if there is a minimum term.
