Laptops tend to decline over time. You may find that they become slower and slower or that the battery can’t hold a charge so they will only work when plugged in. It is vital to back up your laptop as often as possible but it is even more important if this starts to happen as it is likely that the laptop will fail soon.
If you have decided to get a new laptop then you may try and reset your old one so that you can let your child use it or have it as a back up. The first thing to do is ensure that you have taken a copy of all documents, photos and images that you need from there. Also be sure to save and favoured pages or shortcuts that you may have on the browser along with saved passwords.
